The Rotary Club of Jasper held a “sweat equity” workday at Hope House on Saturday, April 6th where Rotary members and members of the Hope House Board of Directors teamed up to clean-up/fix-up Hope House to get things ready for spring! Flower beds were cleaned out, playground equipment repaired, and the driveway was pressure washed. Hope House President, Jim Milton, said that over 300 man-hours of hard work made a big difference and Hope House looks great! Those who came out to help on Saturday morning were Hope House Board members Pat Thuman, Cleve Boutwell, Keith Scott and Jim Milton; Rotary President Ameila McIntyre; Rotarians Henry Hamilton and Dr. Chris LeMieux; and Interact members Turner Moranos, Jonathan Wigington and Jackson Martinez. The Hope House Board is very grateful to the Rotary Club of Jasper.
