The Rotary Club of Jasper held a “sweat equity” workday at Hope House on Saturday, March 24th where Rotary members and members of the Hope House Board of Directors teamed up to clean-up/fix-up Hope House to get things ready for spring! Flower beds were cleaned out, playground equipment repaired, and the driveway was pressure washed. Hope House President, Jim Milton, said that over 90 man-hours of hard work made a big difference and Hope House looks great! Those who came out to help on Saturday morning included: Tom Harrison (Past President, Appalachian Technical College), Cleve Boutwell (semi-retired civil engineer), Fred Snell (Past President, Rotary Club), Pat Thuman (Treasurer, Hope House), Charles McCain, Dr. Chris Lemieux (principal , Jasper Middle School), Keith Scott (Hope House Board Member), and Jim Milton (President, Hope House.) The Hope House Board is very grateful to the Rotary Club of Jasper.
